West End Theatre Trip - Sister Act
Saturday, October 02, 2010
Tel:- 01843 227941 Mob:- 07970 942125 e-mail:- markbathurst@sky.com 37 Kent Road, Margate CT9 3SW. I am delighted to provide further details of the trip to see “Sister Act”, at the London Palladium, on 2nd October. I will need to have your full payment (of £60.00 per person) by Saturday 18th September. This will give me sufficient time to re-sell or claim credit for any cancellations. Please make cheques payable to “Pax Tibi” which is the name of the account, that I have opened, in which to deposit payments for our trip. I am happy to start taking payments and they can be by way of a number of part payments to help “spread the load”. However, I will need to have a substantial amount by mid-August, because the coach company require a deposit. Please put your remittance in an envelope with your details on it and the amount enclosed, as this will help me keep track of monies received. (I will always have suitable envelopes with me). If you have any difficulty getting money to me, do please make contact and I will make suitable arrangements to collect it. Also, please ensure that you give me a contact telephone number (preferably the number of a “mobile” that you will have with you on the trip). An e-mail address, if you have one, might also be handy! I have arranged three pick up points: Our Lady Star of the Sea, Broadstairs, Ss Austin & Gregory, and Birchington Square. Further details will be produced nearer the date, but we expect the first pick up to be at 09.00 (Broadstairs), then 09.20 (Margate) and 09.30 Birchington. We will disembark in Hanover Square (which is close to the theatre) around 11.15am. This will give patrons the opportunity to spend time in the West End, before meeting around 1.30pm, for the performance which starts at 2.00pm. The show lasts for approximately 2hrs 40minutes and we expect to depart at 6.00pm, arriving back in Margate at 8.00pm (ish). There is the option of a meal at the Greek Club in Margate on our return. I appreciate that not everybody going to London will want to have a meal. Attending the meal is open to anyone, even if they have not been on “the trip” and all are welcome! However, I need to know who wishes to join us, so that I can make an appropriate booking and I will need a deposit of £5.00 in respect of each person requiring a meal. Please contact me for any further information, or if you have any questions. Let’s have a really fun day out!!! Mark Bathurst ( Marky B!)
